Right when you step off the ship you’ll enter a lively port area filled with colorful buildings, shops, and restaurants.

 

There is even a large swimming pool with a swim up bar that cruisers can use.

While you’re there:

  • Browse souvenir shops
  • Take photos near the lighthouse
  • Relax by the pool 🍹
  • Grab tacos or fresh guacamole

It’s a fun place to spend a relaxed morning.

 

🎒Visit the Mayan Ruins

Costa Maya is a great place to see ancient Mayan history. The most popular excursion is to the nearby ruins of Chacchoben.

 

Visitors can walk through jungle pathways and explore impressive stone temples while learning about the Mayan civilization.
